I started a little hip-hop beat yesterday and the Reaper project is linked below with FLAC stems. What it really needs: Vocals: Some serious spittin' vocal flow to help move the beat Pads: To fill out the verses after the vox goes down Bass: Some variation, a breakdown, some tension Lead: Maybe a verby spooky lead line on a chorus Sample MP3: Stems(50mb): Interested to see (if anyone is interested) what people come up with lyrically and musically. Peace.

Not much interest so far, so I dicked around on a bass a bit and added some blips and bloops, sounds like that: No idea if makes sense, I have rudimentary hip hop knowledge. Might stretch that for the rest of supplied project and provide stems if needed.

Alright, here's mine. I added some subs, extra snares, a classic g-funk lead, some horns and an organ pad, and a few tweaks. No vocals from me but I vocoded a sample into oblivion for the chorus.

Oh, sorry man. I thought the zip file had a Reaper song in it with the stems already loaded in the song. If you open the Reaper song, the tempo should be in there. If I didn't do that, oops. ;) I think it's 91 though, I think.... but I'm not completely sure.

Sorry man. I thought there was a Reaper song file in there so as not to have to suss out tempo and all that. My bad. Actually, it makes me think about something I never even thought about before. Does FLAC carry embedded tempo like BWav? I never even actually looked at a FLAC file to see.
